Shared VPN vs Dedicated IPv4
| Comparison item | Shared Consumer VPN | PhotonMark Dedicated IPv4 |
|---|---|---|
| Public IP model | Shared pool for many users | Dedicated IPv4 per paid instance |

| IP rotation control | Usually provider decided | Portal and email initiated |
| Best fit | General privacy browsing | Stable identity for work, travel, and testing |
Who this is for
Best for remote workers, travelers, developers, and households that need stable network identity.
Who this is not for
Not for anonymity-maxing, mass scraping, spam, fraud, malware, or other abusive traffic.
Free Trial
Start with 5 devices, 3 days, and 10GB total data. No credit card is needed. It is enough to test WireGuard or Hysteria2 setup, check site access, and confirm that the assigned IPv4 works for your route before paying.
Your Own Public IPv4
Each paid VPN instance receives a dedicated public IPv4 used for both inbound access and outbound traffic. Before assignment, PhotonMark checks reputation signals such as proxy/Tor flags, abuse history, and common DNS blacklists.
Change IPv4 When Needed
WireGuard users can renew the public IPv4 from the portal when reachability is poor or a remote network blocks the current address. HY2 instances keep the assigned dedicated IPv4 for the current term while HY2 renewal support is staged separately.
Ad and Tracking Blocking
Plans include DNS-based advertisement and tracking blocking for cleaner browsing across devices connected through the VPN.
Multiple Countries
Customers can choose their preferred region before checkout. We currently offer dedicated IPv4 addresses in Australia, Japan, and the USA. Additional country pools are planned as provider capacity is added.
WireGuard and Hysteria2 Options
Choose one fast, modern VPN protocol per instance without opaque client-side behavior.
Secure and auditable
WireGuard is open source, small, and widely reviewed. Hysteria2 is available for networks where QUIC-based transport is a better fit.
Very fast
No artificial speed cap from PhotonMark. The service is designed for at least 1Gbps where the route and client network allow.
Mobile friendly
Lightweight cryptography and a compact client make it a strong fit for phones and tablets.
Multi-platform
Use official WireGuard apps or compatible Hysteria2 clients on common desktop and mobile platforms.
What Clients Say
Practical feedback from travel, household, and everyday browsing use.
Sarah: As a remote worker, account security checks became more consistent once I used a dedicated public IPv4 instead of shared VPN exits.
The Johnson Family: We wanted one non-shared VPN exit for home devices. Setup was simple and DNS filtering removed many noisy ads.
Daniel: I needed stable source identity for developer testing. Downloadable VPN profiles made setup predictable across devices.
David: Setup stayed simple across macOS and Windows. I could choose the protocol that matched my client environment.
Alex: Dedicated IPv4 reduced random access friction that we often saw when using shared VPN exits.
Jessica: When routing quality changed, renewing IPv4 from the portal was quick and practical.
